This year’s Alan Cox Associates golf day saw 20 teams raise a record amount for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, Cherry Lodge Cancer Care and Christmas lunch for order people in Barnet.
The annual event organised by the Barnet-based architectural and planning consultancy, took place at Hadley Wood Golf Club on 17th September, attracting more than 100 people for lunch and raising £22,000.
The winner of the individual prize was Simon Mullens, with runner-up Paul Roseman. The Hadley Wood Golf Club team won the team trophy for a second year with aptly named Close Brother team coming “close” behind.
The day included an auction and raffle in aid of the charities, Marcus Andrews from Andrews & Dickens Ltd, contributed an additional £1,200 by matching donations from the first five people to pledge £100.
